CELEBRATING 30 years!

That’s right! MATHCOUNTS is celebrating its 30^th birthday! So let’s make this year really COUNT! An entire generation of Math-lovers has grown up with MATHCOUNTS and we are looking forward to bringing that same excitement to generations to come!

 

Prep and planning has officially begun for the 2013 MATHCOUNTS Competition!  The first Committee meeting is scheduled for September 19th at 5:30.  We are looking for volunteers to serve on the committee to help plan and organize the event, which will take place in mid-February.  Please email us (cflmathcounts.volunteer@gmail.com) for more information and to join our planning committee!

 

Registration forms have been distributed for Coaches.  Register a Math Club now and receive resources for free!  Early Competition Registration Deadline is November 16, 2012. Competition fees increase after this date.  Competition Registration Deadline is December 14, 2012.  You can also download your FREE copy of the MATHCOUNTS School Handbook (with answers) right now!   Reduced registration fees are available for Title I schools.  We recommend registering online.  You can also register by fax or mail.  Please be aware that it can take up to 14 days to process your registration.

 

We are also looking for sponsors to support this great cause!  Show your community support for our children’s education by signing up today with your donation! Sponsorship opportunities are also available with special recognition for donations over $200.

Currently we have 36 middle schools from Orange, Seminole, Lake, Osceola, and Sumter counties registered for our February 2012 Central Florida Chapter Competition which is just around the corner!

Dear Coaches,

Registration for the 2011-2012 MATHCOUNTS Club and Competition programs is open!

IMPORTANT DATES:
· Registration Deadline is December 16, 2011.
· Our local Central Florida Chapter Competition will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Olympia High School (4301 S. Apopka Vineland Road. Orlando, FL 32835).

ADDITIONAL INFO:
· NEW this year! You can download your FREE copy of the MATHCOUNTS School Handbook (with answers) right now!
· Remember, schools will be allowed to register up to six students as individuals in addition to a team of four students (for a total of ten paid students).
· Reduced registration fees are available for Title I schools.

A new school year has begun and the Central Florida MATHCOUNTS committee is now planning for the 2012 Chapter Competition. Registration for the 2011-2012 MATHCOUNTS Competition Program is officially open! Consider joining both the Competition and Club Programs so that your students can enjoy matching math skills against their peers as well as develop problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting through fun and engaging activities!
